Guess Who — Play Free Online

Guess Who is the classic two-player deduction game. Each side has the same board of cartoon faces and one secret character. You take turns asking yes-or-no questions about appearance, such as hats, glasses, hair colour or beards, and after each answer you flip down every face that no longer fits.

This browser version plays against the computer with mouse or touch. It is quick, a full game takes a few minutes, and a good question can cut the board in half in one turn.

How to play Guess Who

1. Press Play and look at your own secret character.
2. Ask a yes-or-no question about the other side's character.
3. Flip down the faces that the answer rules out.
4. When you are sure, make your guess. Under the classic rules a wrong guess loses.

Guess Who controls

• Mouse click / tap: choose questions, flip faces and make the final guess
• Info and sound buttons: rules and audio on the start screen

Tips

• Ask about features that about half the board shares; that removes the most faces.
• Avoid very specific questions early, like a single hair colour few people have.
• Count the faces left before guessing. Guess only when one remains, or when you are behind and need to gamble.
