Bloxorz Level Codes: All 33 Passcodes and How to Use Them

Bloxorz has no save button. What it has instead is a six-digit passcode shown in the top-right corner of every level, and typing that code on the title screen drops you straight back into the level it belongs to. The codes are built into the game, so they are the same for everyone, on every site, in every year since 2007. Here is the full list, followed by how to enter one and what to check when a code is refused.

How to enter a Bloxorz passcode
- Press Play on the home page and wait for the title animation to finish. The menu only responds once the block has stopped moving, about ten seconds in.
- Click Load Stage. A line reading Type passcode appears under it.
- Type the six digits. On a keyboard just type them; on a phone tap the passcode line first so the on-screen keyboard opens.
- Click Enter on the menu. The Enter key on your keyboard does nothing here, which catches out almost everyone the first time.
- The level loads with its passcode shown top-right and the move counter at zero.
Why the code did not work
- You pressed the keyboard Enter key. The game ignores it. Click the word Enter in the menu instead.
- The menu was not ready. Clicks during the intro animation are dropped. Wait for the block to settle, then try again.
- A digit is wrong. The codes have no letters and always six digits. Level 16 starts with three zeros and is the one most often mistyped.
- Nothing happens and the code stays on screen. That is the game's only way of saying no. There is no error message. Clear it and re-type.
Where the passcodes come from
Damien Clarke built Bloxorz in 2007 for the web, where saving progress to a server was not an option for a small Flash game. Passcodes were the standard answer: each level carries a fixed number, the player writes it down, and the game needs no account and no storage. That is also why the list above works on any copy of the game and why a friend's code works for you. The only thing a code stores is the level number; your move count and any half-finished attempt are not part of it.
Does the game save anyway?
No. Close the tab and you are back to the title screen next time. The version here runs the original Flash file through the Ruffle emulator, and Ruffle does not add a save system, so the passcode is still the way back. Write down the code of the last level you reached, or bookmark this page.
Is using a passcode cheating?
Not in any way the game cares about. Bloxorz scores nothing across levels and keeps no total. The move counter resets on every level and exists only so you can try to beat your own number. Skipping to level 20 with a code and solving it is the same achievement as reaching it from level 1, and a lot faster after a slip on level 19.
